FYI: DFW Airport vaccination site no longer accepting new registrations or walk-ins

We are proud of the opportunity to partner with the State of Texas and DFW Airport to offer coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines to our team members onsite at DFW Airport. We want to inform you that due to a strong response, DFW Airport’s vaccine distribution center at is no longer accepting new registrations or walk-ins. Only those team members who are already registered for an appointment will receive a vaccine at DFW Airport next week.

As you know, the State of Texas provided DFW Airport with a limited supply of vaccines, and medical staff have been administering vaccine doses at the airport distribution site to airport and airline employees who live in Texas since March 29. We are pleased that so many team members were able to take advantage of this opportunity.

If you – or your family and friends – have received your first dose at the DFW Airport vaccination site, please look out for information about how to receive your second dose at DFW.

American Airlines cares about your health, safety and well-being, and we encourage team members to take advantage of any available opportunity to be vaccinated. For more information on the importance of team members getting the COVID-19 vaccine, watch this episode of Tell Me Why. Additionally, you can read about what medical experts say about the vaccine on Jetnet, as well as learn more about the vaccine incentive program.

Please note that even though the vaccine is becoming more available across the country, we must remain vigilant in the safety practices American has put in place to keep each other, our families and our customers safe. This includes following our face covering policy; maintaining 6 feet of social distance from others; regularly washing hands or using hand sanitizer; and not coming to work, including flying, while sick, per our Well for Work self-declaration

American’s latest updates on the vaccine are available on Jetnet. Should you have additional questions related to the COVID-19 vaccine, please reach out to your local leaders, who can advise you or direct you to the most appropriate resources.
