What’s new: Six teams of American aviation maintenance technicians (AMTs) are competing in this year’s Aerospace Maintenance Council Competition (AMC). The competition is held in Chicago April 9–11 in conjunction with the annual Aviation Week’s MRO Americas conference.
Why it matters: For the last 10 years, teams of AMTs have competed against each other at the AMC.
This year’s AMC brings together 90 teams from airlines, schools, military, general aviation and repair and maintenance organizations compete against each other in 27 real-life maintenance scenarios.
