ELECTION/NOMINATIONS
Shop Steward Elections for Calendar Year 2022
In accordance with TWU Local 567 By-Laws, Shop Steward Election will be held in December 2021. The elected Shop Stewards will take office January 1, 2022. Balloting will be conducted exclusively online through the TWU Local 567 website. You MUST be registered on the site and a member in good standing to vote for shop stewards. In order to be eligible for a Shop Steward position, the nominee must be a member in good standing.
In order to be nominated, please DOWNLOAD the attached nomination form and submit in one of the following three ways: to a TWU Local 567 E- Board Member, via email to  jsampson@twu567.org or at the November 17th General Membership Meeting. Nominations will not be accepted after November 17, 2021. Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered. Candidates must accept their nomination prior to being placed on the ballot.
Shop Steward positions will be filled as follows:
MLS — 1 Day shift, 1 Afternoon shift, 1 Midnight shift
OSM Shops — 1 Day shift
Avionics — 1 Dayshift, 1 Afternoon Shift
AMT — 1 Day shift, 1 Afternoon shift, 2 Midnight shift
MCT - 1 Day shift, 1 Night shift
All incumbent Shop Stewards will be automatically nominated
**Balloting will be open December 8, 2021 through December 15, 2021 **
**Any Shop Steward that changes shift after the election may have to relinquish their position* *
