Lincoln Financial sent letters to members regarding changing their method of payment to electronic (ACH). The letters were sent in error and members can disregard. Members do not need to covert to ACH and can keep their current method of payment (most are via JetNet). The account manager is investigating why these letters were sent.
All of the insureds who had active Lincoln Financial Accident and/or Critical Illness Insurance, have already been moved over to Continental American Insurance Company effective 1/1/2021. It does not make sense why Lincoln Financial would send these members any correspondence at this point.
